Timber DNA Verification Pilot
Join a six-month pilot exploring how independent DNA verification can complement existing due diligence processes for European timber supply chains.
InterpreData is inviting approximately 10 timber importers to participate in a structured pilot beginning in October 2026.
Working in collaboration with Naturalis Biodiversity Center, the pilot will evaluate DNA-based species verification within real-world commercial supply chains and help shape InterpreData's future European verification services.
Scientific Collaboration in the Netherlands
InterpreData is collaborating with Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden for the Netherlands pilot, bringing together specialist molecular laboratory capabilities with InterpreData's bioinformatics and scientific verification expertise.

Planned Start: October 2026
6-month Programme
Location: Netherlands
Scientific Collaboration: Naturalis Biodiversity Center
Limited to 10 participants
Why Participate?

Explore DNA Verification in Your Own Supply Chain
The pilot gives participating organisations an opportunity to experience DNA-based timber verification using samples relevant to their own supply chains.
The objective is not to replace existing due diligence processes, but to strengthen them with independent scientific evidence.
